I saw it a couple months before it came out, without much knowledge of it. I just knew the cast was excellent. Well, I ended up loving it. I thought it was very Three Kings-esque. I like any movie that takes a silly story and places in the context of something very serious (i.e. Three Kings, Life is Beautiful.) It allows a fresh, unique examination of issues that we'd otherwise become exhausted with. I thought the characters were interesting and well-developed, and their relationships were believable. Moreover, some scenes were flat-out hilarious (the solar cooker? lol)

I'd give it 8 out of 10.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
